Thesis 2015.

These drawings represent a union; a portrait of my father and I. His occupation as a craftsman bares debris left behind on his workbench never to be used again and yet it has become my most cherished possession, and the main influence for my drawings. The work my father discards and the work that I then make with it using his own tools such as the edge of a file or the tip of a screwdriver is important to me and helps me preserve a fraction of our relationship as parent and child, something I am afraid to lose with time.
